The toxic effect of a BossHole on an organization can be devastating. Jeanna Bryner summarized University of Florida research in an article, “Abused Workers Fight Back by Slacking Off,” in Live Science on October 8, 2007. This research demonstrated that workers with abusive bosses were five times more likely to slow down or make errors on purpose, six times more likely to hide from their boss, three times more likely to not give their best effort, and seven times more likely to falsely take sick leave.
A great boss inspires his/her team and creates an environment where workers can excel. A BossHole does the exact opposite. This Boss rating system will identify whether your boss is a great boss, good boss, partial BossHole, BossHole or Complete BossHole.
